Cheyne Romero - Freelance Writer and Brand Development Strategist

A resident of Manhattan, Cheyne Romero completed a pre-college creative writing program through the Pratt Institute during high school. Subsequently, she attended Pace University in New York City, graduating summa cum laude with a bachelor of arts in women's and gender studies and a bachelor of science in business. During her time at Pace, Cheyne Romero became a member of the university's Stonewall Coalition and of the organization Women in Corporate America (WICA), which she also served as secretary.

Following her graduation, Ms. Romero launched a freelance writing service in New York known as GhostGirl, Inc. From her home base in Manhattan, she assists clients ranging from individuals to mid-sized companies looking to develop their visibility on social media. She provides services such as ghostwriting, content-writing, brand direction, and manages and builds websites, blogs, and social media sites. Her approach encompasses strategies for search engine optimization (SEO) and customer targeting.

In her leisure time, Cheyne Romero enjoys creative writing, reading, gardening, hiking, traveling, and scuba diving. She also plans fundraising events to support organizations that serve at-risk women.
